Q: What time is Cottage open?

A: We are open for business Monday - Saturday 10 AM - 8 PM and Sunday 12 PM - 5 PM.

 

Q: What time can I drop off items for the bid board?

Bid board drop offs are accepted Monday - Saturday 11 AM - 7 PM starting the Thursday immediately following the previous auction. No drop offs will be accepted on the Saturday of the auction.

Q: Do you have ____ in stock in your store?

A: Cottage is very unique in that all of our store items are stocked by individual vendors so we do not have a unified store inventory. Unfortunately, this means we are unable to provide specific information on what is currently in stock. The best way to find something in the store is to come in and look around!

Q: I have an item I want to sell, can I sell it at Cottage?

A: We do not take items on a consignment basis. The store owner does house clean-outs and also purchases individual items on a case-by-case basis. Please call the store and ask to speak with George for more detailed information!

Q: How do I know if I've won items in the auction?

A: The night of the auction we clerk the winning bids and send out emails to winners, typically after 9 PM. If you do not receive an email the night of the auction or would just like to check the status of your bids, you can call the store starting the day after the auction (Sunday). We will not be able to give out information on winning bids on Saturday.

Q: Do I need to bring packing supplies to take home my auction items?

A: Yes! Please bring boxes, bubble wrap, newspaper, etc. with you when coming to pick up your winnings!

Q: Can I place bids on auction items online or over the phone?

A: Bids on auction items can only be placed in person.

Q: Do I need to bring my own bags to Cottage?

A: Yes! We are phasing out plastic bags so we encourage everyone to bring your own reusable bags for taking home your treasures.
